Guided Fly Fishing Trips
Experience The Best Trout Fishing Near Chattanooga
Spotted Dog Outfitters offers fly fishing trips and lessons for beginners and experienced anglers alike. The prices below includes fly rods, flies, waders, boots, and anything else fishing related. Snacks and drinks are provided for half-day trips, and a riverside lunch is provided on all full-day trips. We can facilitate bigger groups, but require a 2:1 guide to angler ratio to give everyone the best experience possible. Please bring a Georgia fishing license (for anglers 16-64), any fly fishing gear you’d like, a hat, sunglasses, and a lightweight rain jacket along with appropriate seasonal clothing.
Start times and meeting times vary by trip, and your guide will reach out to you before the trip with more information. If you don’t see the availability or trip style you like or if you’d like to book for more anglers, please request a custom trip or give us a call.
Float Fishing Trips
Fish from the comfort of a drift boat on the tailwater section of the Toccoa River any day of the year!
Float trips are great for groups (bachelor/bachelorette parties and corporate outings are welcome!) or for kids and older anglers who may have difficulty wading or walking over rocks. Plus, drift boats allow anglers to bundle up and enjoy more creature comforts during the colder months.
Full-Day: $500/1 or 2 People
Half-Day: $400/1 or 2 People
Walk & Wade Fishing Trips
It may sound odd… but wade fishing trips are a great way to feel connected to the river and really zone in on what you’re doing. With float fishing you’re able to cover more water, but with wade fishing you’re able to methodically work a piece of water and take your time.
Whether you’re working a pod of rising trout, practicing your euro-nymphing technique, or just want a little slice of heaven to call your own for a while, wade trips afford an angler solitude and mental clarity that’s more difficult to find while float fishing.
Full-Day: $450/1 or 2 People
Half-Day: $350/1 or 2 People
Private Water Fishing Trips
If secluded settings and miles of private, unpressured fly fishing heaven tickles your fancy, the Spotted Dog Outfitters crew can coordinate a guided trip based on what you’re looking to do.
Between beefy browns and bows on medium/large rivers and endless wild trout on small mountain creeks, we can put something together to get you off the beaten path. These trips require a little more of a heads up than public water outings, so please call as early in the season as possible to get your date on the books.
